Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close is written by Jonathan S. Foer. This novel is about a little boy, Oskar, who lost his father on 9/11 and who is trying to figure what the key his father left hidden would open. I'm not very far into it, a little less than a fourth of the way through, but so far, this has been very interesting to read. Throughout the novel, there are many pictures and markings on the pages which help you dive even deeper into Oskar's key-finding adventures.
According to the book description on the back cover, Oskar is nine years old, but I don't really agree with this age. I feel like everything that Oskar does and says is much more advanced than what a normal nine year old boy would do and say, but maybe that's the point, maybe Oskar isn't a normal nine year old boy. I don't know what would make him special, maybe it's just that he's logical, or maybe he has a hidden superpower! I highly doubt that is what is going to happen, but it is possible. I guess I'll just figure it out as I continue reading. Goodnight! (or good morning or good afternoon or good day... I don't really know... :/ haha bye!)
